Westside Swimming will be closed from Friday 30 March until the Easter Block commences on Monday 9 April. Our office hours for the Block week will be Monday – Friday 8am -11am. Term 2 will start from Monday 16 April. Happy Easter from the Team at Westside

Teachers will nominate swimmers and the Deck Supervisor assesses performance against graduation criteria. If the teacher does not nominate, your child will not be assessed but upon request swimmers can be graded at any time throughout the term and parents can discuss your child’s progress with the Deck Supervisor at any time. Be helpful but don’t coach them on the way to the pool, track or rink on the way the way back of, at breakfast, and so on. It’s tough not to, but it’s a lot tougher for the child to be inundated with advice, pep talks and often critical instruction. Swimming in Australia September 2017
